In this day-long retreat, Rev. Daeseop Yi will take us deeper into the story of the Prodigal Son through inspiration taken from Henri Nouwen’s The Return of the Prodigal Son and Rembrandt’s painting

The younger son’s return is not the end – it is the beginning of a larger question. Will the elder son come inside? And who is this father whose heart holds both sons?

Henri Nouwen discovered that he was far more the elder son than the younger. And that the deepest call of the spiritual life is not simply to return home—but to become the one who welcomes others in.

This retreat is virtual via Zoom.

Saturday, October 24th from 10 am to 3 pm with a break for lunch.
